Privacy Policy
This policy describes what information Watch Longevity collects, who we share it with, and how to ask us to delete it. We try to be plain about it. The short version: we collect what we need to run a free, ad-supported news + offers site, we share aggregated event data with Meta and Google for ad attribution, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.
What we collect
Email addresses if you subscribe to our newsletter. We also store the page or popup you signed up from, the date, and any campaign tags (utm_source/medium/campaign, fbclid, gclid) present in your URL at signup, so we can measure which content drives subscriptions.
Click tracking on outbound links. When you click an offer or partner link, we log the click with your IP address, browser/device, the referring page, and any campaign tags. This is how we know which offers our readers find useful and how we get paid.
Conversion data. If you sign up at one of our partner offers, the partner sends us a server-to-server confirmation that includes a transaction ID, dollar amount, and the click ID we generated. We use this for accounting and to optimize ad spend.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to log page views, referring sources, and basic device info. Configurable on Google's side via their opt-out tool.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. We do share specific data with the following processors so the site can function:
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — our Pixel sends pageviews + conversion events (signups, affiliate clicks). For higher match quality, we also send Meta hashed (SHA-256) email addresses, IP, and user agent via the Meta Conversions API. Meta uses this to attribute their ad performance. Opt out at facebook.com/help.
- Google (GA4) — pageviews and conversion events. We also send conversion events server-side via Measurement Protocol with the GA client_id we captured at click time. Opt out via Google's tool.
- Mailgun — our email delivery provider. They process emails we send you (welcome notes, drip sequences, unsubscribe confirmations).
- Bankrolls (or other affiliate networks) — when you click an offer, we pass them a click ID + your IP + UA. They send back a confirmation when you complete a signup or deposit at the advertiser. We don't share your name or email with them unless the advertiser's flow requires it.
- Supabase — our database/host for subscriber records, click logs, and the rest of our backend.
- Vercel + Cloudflare — hosting and DNS. Vercel sees server-side request logs (including IP). Cloudflare proxies our traffic.
Cookies + tracking technologies
We set first-party cookies for: form security tokens (anti-bot), attribution preservation across sessions (so an ad click 3 days ago still gets credited if you sign up today), and Meta + Google tracking pixels. You can clear or block these via your browser, but some site features (the newsletter signup form's anti-bot check, in particular) require them.
What we don't do
We don't sell your email or click logs to third parties. We don't run cross-site retargeting beyond the standard ad networks listed above. We don't collect more sensitive data (health information you submit, financial details, etc.) — if you sign up at a partner offer, that data goes directly to them, not us.
Your rights
You can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Full instructions on the data deletion page. The fastest path is to email privacy@watchlongevity.com with the subject “Delete my data” from the address you want deleted.
Children
Watch Longevity is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top tracks revisions. Material changes will be announced via the newsletter.
